Relatives and power of attorney
You need a power of attorney if you are helping a relative or someone close to you with paying daily fees. A power of attorney allows you to act and communicate on behalf of the person the case concerns.
Why is a power of attorney required?
Due to confidentiality and data protection rules, we can only communicate with the person the case concerns. A power of attorney ensures that you have permission to act on their behalf.
What should a power of attorney include?
To process the power of attorney, it must include the following information:
Details of the person the case concerns
Name, address, phone number, email and CPR numberYour details (the person helping)
Name, address, phone number, email and CPR numberVehicle registration number
Scope of the power of attorney
For example, whether it covers the entire case or only parts of it, such as payment of daily fees or information about previous insurance.
