How to pay your daily fees

Here you can find information on how to pay your daily fees and your options for instalment plans.

How to pay

You can pay your daily fees by logging in to daily fee self-service using your personal or company MitID. You can pay by card or MobilePay.

Payments are processed as online transactions and may require confirmation via SMS code. (You can read more about registering your mobile number for your payment card in our FAQ.) If you experience problems with the payment, this may be due to limits on your payment card. In this case, contact your bank.

If you do not have MitID, you can pay by contacting DFIM.

Instalment plans

You can set up an instalment plan via self-service when the following conditions are met:

  • you no longer own or use the vehicle, or the number plates have been deregistered

  • the amount exceeds DKK 1,000

  • the instalment period is a maximum of 12 months

If you would like a longer instalment period, please contact us.

Please note that you cannot take out insurance on any vehicle while there are unpaid daily fees – including during an instalment plan.

If you do not pay your daily fee

If you do not pay the outstanding daily fees, your case may be sent for legal debt recovery. Ultimately, DFIM may take enforcement action against your assets, for example your vehicle.

As long as you have unpaid daily fees with DFIM, you cannot take out the required third-party liability insurance for any vehicle.

Check if your vehicle is insured

Enter the vehicle details in The Danish Motor Vehicle Agency to see if it is covered by third-party liability insurance.
